Back in August, Sunami won a thirty-wrestler over-the-top-rope battle royal to become the first ever Cen-Cal Pro Heavyweight Champion. In November he faces what may be the greatest challenge of his career, when he takes on Lucha Underground stars Pentagon Jr and Lil Cholo (aka Mr. Cisco) in a three-way match to defend his title. That's right! On November 11, 2016 Cen-Cal Pro is making its debut in Atascadero, CA with a benefit show for Templeton Youth Football and Cheer, and we are bringing out some of the brightest stars in wrestling! See our events page for tickets and information.

August 21, 2016 Cen-Cal Pro returns to San Luis Obispo. "The Pumpkin Queen" Sage Sin (C) defends the Five Cities Championship against "Wrestling Personified" Rik Luxury; Alexander G. Bernard and Shawn Gunn (C) defend the Cen-Cal Pro Tag Team Championships against Chaos, Inc. (Jaye Synn and Tony Vargas); "Cruz Control" RJ Cruz takes on "The Young Lion" Will Roberts in an "I Quit" match; The Renegade Nation (Big Clay and DK Malice w/ Diskord) debuts; plus a MASSIVE over-the-top-rope rumble to determine the first Cen-Cal Pro Champion.

Last Sunday, Cen-Cal Pro crowned our first ever Tag Team Champions. Chaos Inc., Ridiculously Big, The Von Dooms, and the unlikely pairing of Alexander G. Bernard and Shawn Gunn faced off in a four-way tag match where the action was fast and furious. Despite the fact that Bernard and Gunn seemed to be as interested in fighting each other as they were in fighting their opponents, the darkhorse team took home a surprise victory. Bernard tried to claim both belts for himself, but Gunn was having none of it and knocked his partner out with a single massive punch to the face. This just goes to show that anything can - and WILL - happen at a Cen-Cal Pro show! Don't miss us when we return to San Luis Obispo on August 21st, 2016 to crown the very first Cen-Cal Pro Champion!.

In March, "The Pumpkin Queen" Sage Sin defeated "Wrestling Personified" Rik Luxury to become the first ever Five Cities Champion. On May 15, 2016 Sage will defend her title against "The Game-Changer" Greg Hernandez, who impressed the Cen-Cal Pro Board of Directors with his win over Daniel Torch in a "Best Two Out of Three Falls Match" in March. Also, on May 15th, Big Clay will settle his differences with DK Malice (w/ Diskord) in a Texas Bullrope Match. Malice and Diskord allowed Clay to choose the stipulation of the match, issuing the statement that if Clay "knows who he is, he will pick the right stip and may even win... But if he has not figured out who he is, he will have to live with always being second best." Diskord has a reputation for sinister and manipulative behavior, but he claims that he is simply trying to show Clay "who he truly is, out of respect." Additionally, Creepshow (JD Horror and Sledge) will continue their feud with Rock of Love (Billy Blade and Kadin Anthonly w/ Laydee Vayne) in a No Disqualification Match. This match marks the next step in the very personal rivalry between these two teams, and it will no doubt get violent! If all of that wasn't enough, we will also be hosting a four-team Elimination Rules Match to determine the first ever Cen-Cal Pro Tag Team Champions. All this and more goes down on May 15th in San Luis Obispo! Don't miss out!

February 15, 2016
In January, Cen-Cal Pro hosted a tournament to determine the top two contenders for the brand new Five Cities Championship. "The Pumpkin Queen" Sage Sin and "Wrestling Personified" Rik Luxury were victorious in the semifinals and will face off against each other on March 13, 2016 to determine the first champion. Incidentally, this is the first time in wrestling history that an intergender match has been booked to determine a company's first champion... But at Cen-Cal Pro, we pride ourselves on being socially progressive. The competitors that step into our ring are wrestlers first, regardless of their gender, and if you have the talent, ability, and ring savvy to earn yourself a title shot, then we see no reason why your chromosomes should stop you from competing! May the best WRESTLER win!

If you have ever dreamed of becoming a professional wrestler, contact us and let us help you start on the path to making that dream a reality. We will be back on January 31, 2016 when we host the Five Cities Championship tournament to determine the top two contenders for our brand new championship belt.

Cen-Cal Pro, in conjunction with Underground Empire Wrestling, managed to raise $650 for the Food Bank Coalition of San Luis Obispo County, as part of the Headlock on Hunger campaign. Every dollar that was raised purchased $10 worth of food for families in need on the central coast, meaning we bought $6500 worth of food for hungry people! Despite UEW and Cen-Cal's ability to work together on this great cause, animosity still exists between these two compaines. After UEW invaded us in July and stole the UEW Heavyweight Championship from its rightful owner, Sledge, Cen-Cal Pro returned the favor and invaded UEW on August 22nd, where Sledge reclaimed the title from his former best friend, JD Horror, in a violent and bloody deathmatch. Controversy surrounded the entire night on August 22nd, so to put an end to this conflict once and for all, Cen-Cal Pro and UEW will be hosting a final battle on the Central Coast on September 26th. Do not miss CEN-CAL PRO VS UEW: BATTLE LINES, coming soon to The Graduate in San Luis Obispo. Visit our events page for tickets and information.
